Coordinators, trainers, managers, and building teams that deliver great guest days.
Fairness, clear expectations, and coaching in the moment. Peers often discuss how to give feedback without killing morale mid-shift, how to back your team publicly, and how to escalate issues without drama. Consistency beats intensity.
Bring examples of training others, handling conflict, and improving a process. Quantify guest or operational wins when you can — wait-time improvements, safety catches, rehire rates you influenced. Practice concise stories with situation, action, and result.
Be specific, private when possible, and focused on the standard — not the person’s worth. Pair correction with a clear next try and genuine recognition when they improve. Teams trust leaders who are honest and kind in the same conversation.
Break roles into must-know safety, guest phrases, and then polish. Use shadowing, teach-backs, and short checklists. Rushing show quality before fundamentals creates risk — great trainers sequence learning so confidence grows with competence.
